I am the promotions director for Album 88, Georgia State’s iconic student radio station. I run on-air ticket giveaways, promote student outreach, help the promotions assistant run the social media pages, and other general managerial duties. I singlehandedly organized our Vinylthon event and revived our social media to reach 5000+ followers on Instagram. I ran a classical music show for about six months but now opt to do spontaneous one-off segments showcasing the variety of music I enjoy.
Though I do not plan on pursuing radio, music, or media in general, participating in Album 88 has been a large part of my life since early 2023. It has significantly improved my communication and public speaking skills along with facilitating invaluable friendships and connections.
